Marc began his artistic career at a young age, filling up the margins of his school notebooks with drawings.
In those days, his art books were encyclopedias and comic books. After honing his drawing skills through High School, Marc went on to study Science at College du Vieux-Montréal. Two years later, he transferred to Concordia University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and then went on to complete a Teaching Certificate from l’Université Laval. While in school, he studied the major art movements, however, his artistic vision, was enlightened, the moment he saw a mural painted by Norval Morrisseau.
Marc lives in Prince George, British Columbia, with his two children, and spends his days in his classroom teaching. He paints whenever possible, and divides his time between hiking, skiing and ballroom dancing.
